My Travel Story

This May, I have the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Germany—a country known for its innovation, sustainability, and leadership in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. Over ten days, I’ll visit cities like Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and Freiburg, exploring how German schools and industries integrate creativity, technology, and environmental awareness into learning.
As a future high school biology teacher, this experience will deeply shape how I teach and inspire my students. I want to bring back new ideas about hands-on, inquiry-based learning, global collaboration, and sustainable science practices to my future classroom. By learning how STEAM education is approached internationally, I can better prepare my students to think critically, innovate boldly, and see themselves as global citizens.
