Hi!
Thank you for stopping by my page.   I'm here campaigning for financial assistance to travel.  Professionally,  I am a certified public school teacher currently teaching HS English in SC.  I'm also a Licensed Professional Counselor.   I have worked in both fields to combine to make 25 years in public service.  I have two wonderful teenagers and I am divorced.  After the divorce, I moved in with my parents, but then my father died and now I've been there for almost 10 years.  I have to watch my budget and I struggle with some debt.  I'm a frugal person for the most part, but I'll splurge a little on a good meal or a travel opportunity.   My son is in college and I qualify for financial aid.
I have summers off and I want to travel during that time.  I'd like to take my kids to enjoy a few broadening experiences.   My travel window is Summer 2020 and I'm still organizing whether I would host a teen travel opportunity or teach English overseas, but regardless of what I'd like to do, I really can't afford it.  I'm a reader and I've traveled to Europe a couple of times.   My current dream is to live at Lake Como during the summer of 2020 and travel Italy via the trains from there.  Usually, I go online and design amazing trips and that satisfies me for a little while.  I feel a little guilty about asking for help for general travel financing, but it would help me feel less trapped.  I am aging and I don't foresee any magical money appearing on my horizon and yet,  I really want to travel.  If you are ridiculously rich,  I could pay off my debt with 20k and I could travel for 3 summers on another 20k, but honestly,  I can stretch a dollar and I could do Italy on under 5k.  I've never done anything like this beyond buying a scratch off lottery card every blue moon.  Thank you for reading this and If you feel inclined to help, I'm happy to provide any details you might need.
