My Travel Story

Hello there!

My name is Ginte. As much as cliche it sounds - I'm going on a trip of a lifetime. A trip to Southeast Asia. I'm very drawn to traveling but I know that I can't just do that for my entire life. There are things that prevent me (and most of the people) and low funds that run out way too easily and too fast is one of them. Therefore I want to go on the last "big and crazy" adventure - travel in Southeast Asia for a couple of months. I have never done that and it's on my bucket list. However, I want to start working on my career and traveling won't be as easy anymore. So here I am, asking you all to help me to live my dream.

During my time in Asia I will visit 6 countries: Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Philippines where I will also volunteer with local communities and try to make a world a better place. By going on this trip I want to embrace and promote conscious travelling: improve myself mentally and emotionally, learn about and truly experience new cultures off the beaten path; and do some extra good on the way by getting involved in eco projects such as ocean reef cleaning, helping small local businesses etc.

I really appreciate every donation! I will be writing about my experiences throughout the journey and you'll be able to see that in my little blog(if you wish, of course). Can't wait to start and share everything!
