My Travel Story

My cousin called me today asking me to take an all-inclusive trip with her and her friends in October. I would love to go, but not sure I can swing the funds. Why? Well, here's my story.

i have been a mom longer than I have been an adult. I've never put myself first, so any type of traveling (trust me when I say it has never been more that 4 hours from home) was for my children.  My husband left me for another woman on my birthday, August 22, last year. It has been an awful time since then, full of harassment, lies, court dates, police officers, sad kids, suicide attempts by me, loss of my job, and just the most awful time of my life. So, while I could never imagine going in a trip without my kids, I really need something good to look forward to.
