I'm a psychology student at Southern Adventist University feeling called to serve and help the precious children at the Olmalaika Trust. I love getting to interact with and help little kids, and spending a year of my life doing that for young girls who have faced unthinkable cruelty in their short lives is something I'm dying to do. At Olmalaika I will help in "mothering" the girls and babies brought in, as well as working in their sewing business making menstrual kits for local women. It breaks my heart that there are so many dear children in this world who have not received the parental love that they need and deserve, and I would like to do my part, as small as it may be, to give some of those kids a bit of the love they ought to receive!
