My Travel Story

Hello there, my name is Joffe Walters, and I need your help.

 In July 2017, I will be embarking on the biggest adventure of my life. I’m going to be volunteering in partnership with African Adventures in Nakuru, Kenya; Kenya’s fourth largest city.

The main aim of the trip is to help build and revitalise school facilities and also other facilities around the area. My trip will also entail teaching and interacting with many of the children in disadvantaged communities, in the hope that during my time there, I’ll make a long lasting difference to their deprived lifestyles.

However, this trip doesn’t come for free. From now, up until I leave, I will be doing everything I can to fundraise and come up with the money that is required to allow me to venture out to Kenya. My target as it stands is £1900. Part of the money goes towards projects and aid for underprivileged communities. The rest is enabling me to provide renovation and teaching to children from deprived backgrounds.
