Funding my study abroad opportunity provides me the chance to make connections internationally while learning about ethical and educational concerns occurring in Ireland and the US! I want to take the experiences from this trip and use it to broaden my world perspective as I would meet people from vastly different backgrounds and perspectives. As a scientist in the making, it is crucial to be open-minded and welcoming of new perspectives from people of different backgrounds; I want to study abroad to converse with people on various topics regardless of our perspectives as these experiences can be used in a professional setting dealing with various individuals. I want to form global connections I can foster throughout the rest of my undergraduate time, through graduate school, and in my future career
