My Travel Story

I want to come on this program because I would love to have the privilege to be part of such an amazing organization. I’ve heard so many amazing and truly inspiring stories about it that I would be lucky to experience. This would give me the chance to step out of my bubble and appreciate how fortunate I should be. Moreover, it will give me the chance to do something with that. If I could put a smile on one person’s face this summer I would be so happy. To be given the opportunity to enhance someone’s summer is the best thing I could ask for. I want to help make the campers have the best summer they could dream of. I want to show the children that they are loved and people care about them.   I heard many stories about volunteers making campers happy and becoming close friends with them and it just sounds so amazing. I would love to create those long lasting relationships. I hope to contribute a listening ear ; I want to be there to listen. I think I am a very understanding, empathetic, attentive, open, authentic person. I am very patient. I can work in teams, both as a leader and follower. I am energetic and optimistic and can create fun environments. I have good communication skills. I have a lot of love to give and definitely want to show as many people that they are loved.
