My Travel Story

What Makes This Meaningful For Me:

On February 8th of 2019, My Better Half ( my Wife) lost her mother.  Within a 10 month span, she also lost her father & step father while also experiencing being laid off from work due to the early scare of covid... My Wife & Her Mother were very close. In fact, the vacation destinations I listed in this campaign for Her are the list of dream trips that my Mother In Law had planned to take with us before Her physical passing & the financial setbacks that the pandemic caused us. These tragedies cause a strain on our mental health, finances(credit)& marriage. However,  we still found away to keep it all together & managed to get 4 wonderful children through private school... Well, the babies are all gone now & their presence helped her cope with the absence more than anything else... Now, I'm sure she is dealing with the "Empty Nest Syndrome " & due to the absence of our children, she now hates the home that we have been stuck renting for the pass 6 years due to our financial woes during the pandemic amongst other things. All of the destinations listed hold there own sentimental value, but none more important than New York for that is where Her Mother was from... My Wife, Amanda hadn't been to Her Mother's Birth Place since an adolescent, so the trip was meant to be their " Union Réunion" so to speak... My Mother In Law, Althea, was suppose to give us a grand tour of Her Birthday Place ( Brooklyn actually) & bless us with fond memories of Her youth that she never had... Now, I just want to do whatever I can to make that trip a reality for her & her wish of returning some of Her Mother's ashes back to Her Place Of Birth which was always Home in Her Heart... From this point in my sharing, I don't know what else to say... I'm trying my best to not get emotional... so I think I will stop here.
