My Travel Story

I am a college student studying Biology with a minor in Captive Wildlife Management. I want to go on this amazing trip for many reasons. The most important being that my dream job is to own a zoo. With the training and experience that I will obtain through this program, I can ensure the happiness and well being of the animals I intend to care for when I do have my own zoo. Another reason I want participate in this volunteer program is because I have never done any traveling before outside of the United States, and I would love to see more of the world and experience a culture different than my own. The last reason that this program would be a great opportunity for me is because it can also count as an internship that will count towards my college degree.  I chose this particular trip because it will give me the hands on experience necessary to make sure that animals will get the proper care and medicine later in my career.  This would be not only an amazing and exciting experience for me, but an educational and enlightening experience that will ultimately help many animals through me in the future.
