My Travel Story

Hi all this is Federico, I’m 35 yrs old and I live in Rome, Italy. By february 25th I’m starting my sabbatical year traveling the world. I have studied reportage and portrait photography and my main goals would by make a living out of it. So with this project I'm trying to pursue my real passion, telling people stories through my camera. On the other hand I'm planning to do some volunteering as well. I’ll start my trip in India and Nepale with an italian backpacker tour and then I will continue my solo journey in Nepal for a couple of more weeks. I will hit Thailand by the first week of april and then Cambodia, Vietnam. Next steps would be cruising down towards Malaysia and Indonesia! My happiness would be pushing myself in the extreme pacific islands and reach Tonga, Fiji and Vanuatu. I’ll be a backpacker of course with low budget as a sustainable traveler! Help me telling stories of forgotten people!

    I will always carry my camera as I am social photographer; I like catching portrait of people daily life and their environment. I'm based in Rome, Italy and I'm working on a photography project about homeless people, refugees around the world. I do several street photography shoots as well as I walk a lot during my reportage.
