My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Rachel Eagleton and I am a student at Clemson University. This Christmas Break, I have the opportunity to travel to Peru and work within their orphanages. Many of these children won't have a holiday experience without the help of volunteers. Being able to provide these kids a loving, safe, fun environment while working to make their holiday special is something I can't wait to do! 

Two years ago, when I visited India I got the opportunity to work with kids at a local school (check out my picture on this page!) and they changed my life. Since I left their small corner of the world, I have felt an intense urge to get back out there and give back to more people around the world. I hope this trip allows me to give freely and help the children, as well as myself, grow as human beings.

The money donated here will go towards my program fees to allow me to travel to Peru. Once I reach my goal, any extra money will be used to buy toys and supplies to bring as gifts to the children of Cusco. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
