My Travel Story

I aspire to go to Costa Rica for 12 weeks in the beautiful city of Tamarindo. It is also expensive and as a struggling to pay for college student, I need all the help I can get. To study abroad and stay with a host family is to participate in a full immersion environment. I would be receiving credits that would transfer over to my premed major and would really accentuate my application into grad school. I plan to take the knowledge I learn and later be apart of Doctors Without Borders because it is my dream to take my affection for medicine to help those in Latin American countries. I know in my heart that this isn't just a trip, but an investment into my newfound perspective of different cultures and learning how to adapt. The money would go towards my flight, enrollment, paying the teachers, excursions to Panama, lunch at the university, books/materials, and protection for any medical emergencies. 
I would sincerely appreciate any donations. I will not take for granted any dime and will invest the money in myself to represent the U.S. with respect and dignity during my time there.
