My Travel Story

Within childcare placements, most of the children have very poor backgrounds. The government in Tanzania is trying to focus more on educating children and moving away from childcare institutions such as orphanages, meaning these schools need outside help from volunteers to provide the children with education and love. During my volunteer time I will be assisting with teaching, caring for children, playing and arranging activities for the children. Additionally, I will be helping with feeding and mealtimes, and engaging with children. I'm very passionate about the importance of this work and would appreciate your help in my journey in helping these children. Any money provided will be funding my travel while also the purchase of supplies to bring with me for the schools.
