We are the Lincoln County Cloggers. We travel around our great state of West Virginia and adjacent showcasing our Appalachian Clog Dance to everyone. With 8 team members this can get a bit expensive. We are currently actively fund raising for a trip we were invited to be part of. We will be performing in our Nation's Indeoendence Day Celebration and Parade in Washington DC. This is a huge honor for us but we desperately need help funding our trip. As you know the state of West Virginia is one of the poorest states in the Nation and our small town of Hamlin, is a very poor southern coal county. Our trip is partly funded by our team traveling to festivals over our state and entertaining at Nursing Centers for senior citizens. Your help in making our dreams come true would mean the world to us. We make all of our outfits, take our own vehicles, use our own gas. We feed our team, have 3-4 nightly hotel rooms, and everything involved in keeping our team dance ready. We are currently raising $6000 for our festival travels and our July 4th travel.
