My Travel Story

Last week my Father died.
At 85, he was a wonderful man full of humor, life, and giving. I need to get my wife and I to his funeral in California. Unfortunately, there is an issue.
My wife is dissabled, ill, and cannot fly. I can't leave her alone for a long time, so we are trying to raise money to rent a good vehicle and drive cross country for the funeral. Since we will be driving, we also plan on spending at least a week with my mother to help her transition into a life without the man she'd been married to for 61 years.
I know this isn't a world-changing event, or a life's dream, but it is my only chance of getting there in time to say goodbye and console my mother.
