When you think about the great romantic places where you can travel, you might not immediately think of India, but you should. We’re going to show you some of the most romantic places in the country that you can check out when you’re looking for a unique and beautiful experience with your partner. Use these different places as a way to fan the flames of your love!

India is a great country for lovers

India is a fantastic country for people in love. Why is that the case? Well, several reasons exist, but the most important one is the vast differences in places that you can see. This is the country that is home to the Taj Mahal, after all. You can see amazing cityscapes alongside beautiful rural areas. People that love wildlife and beaches can also find great places to stay with their partners. The country is very accessible to people from around the world, too. That's why I'm planning this trip. I've recently signed up to a well-known dating platform.  After spending some time browsing through different chat rooms, I've stumbled upon chat that was focused on fans of Snapchat.  As this was one of my favorite apps I quickly developed a rapport and arrange an actual date.  After spending some time on the platform we have taken our romance offline. Long story short, we've been together for 3 months already and we are currently planning a trip to India. The country is incredibly diverse, and that lends itself to being a wonderful area to find a romantic partner, too. For all those reasons and more, you need to start conceptualizing India as a place for romance instead of just another travel destination.

Indian Goa Honeymoon

The Konkan region of India has Goa, a beautiful place loaded with hotels that service people who are going to India for their honeymoon. While Goa is a unique and beautiful place, it is just one of 10 different places that need to be highlighted. We believe it’s important to look at more of the country in a positive light to show you the different available places to stay. I've created a list of the 10 most romantic places in the country that you should definitely explore with your loved one and which I planning to visit as well.
1.       Andaman Islands

The Andaman Islands are a unique place in the world because they are home to indigenous peoples such as the Sentinelese, and many of the places are not allowed to host visitors. Still, there are several islands in this series where you and your partner can visit, eat, and see some of the most beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean.

2.       Daman and Diu

If you’re looking for an area with a cool history, Daman and Diu are the places for you. The territory is actually split in two by a gulf. The two towns have several forts that can be toured as historic areas along with some of the most famous churches in the area, like St. Paul Church at Diu. Due to their location on the water, both areas have a lot of different waterfront hotels and restaurants, perfect for people on a honeymoon or visiting.

3.       Lakshadweep

People that are looking to get away from the cares of the world come to Lakshadweep. This area is pretty isolated from the mainland, and it has all the tourist resorts that people could want!

4.       Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

The Tawang area is known for the Tawang Monastery, along with the snow-covered mountains. It’s a popular place for people to visit throughout the year. This is more of a place for people interested in the culture of the area rather than a party town.

5.       Shillong, Meghalaya

Nicknamed the “Scotland of the East” for its rolling hills, this place is known for its many unique parks and waterfalls. It has many picnic spots and many beautiful places to stop for pictures with your partner! It’s also known for the beautiful downtown area, which hosts various sports and businesses!

6.       Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is a state in India that is loaded with tourist destinations. Located near the Himalaya mountains, it has many temples dating back centuries, tons of open, natural land for people to explore, and various cultures all living together in a single, widespread area. The art, literature, cuisine, and culture from this area are all famous

7.       Valley Yumtang, Sikkim

This part of India is mostly known for its beautiful meadows, but that’s not the only reason that people should check out this particular area of India. The nature available to see in this area is second to none throughout the country. There are hot springs, geysers, and valleys that will leave your jaw dropped at the beauty of the world.

8.       Kadhal, Karnataka

This city is not so much a great place to visit on its own as it is a place to stay while you’re exploring the surrounding area. You can find some local stores and attractions to keep you busy, and you’re never far from your next adventure. This is the perfect place to stop and take a refreshing breath!

9.       Alleppey, Kerala

This beautiful, clean city is known for its canals, sports, and as a transportation hub. The city has many famous churches and government buildings, all of which were meticulously designed. This might not be the place to go on a honeymoon, but it has plenty to see for travelers!

10.   Goa

As we’ve mentioned, Goa is a uniquely beautiful place in India. The area is historic, with many of the old spice plantations and buildings preserved for future generations. This is a fishing hub, so there is plenty of businesses to visit. The real benefit of Goa is the beaches and resorts, though. This is the perfect place for newlyweds to visit and have a fantastic time because of the available amenities from the area!
