My Travel Story
Long story short haha, when I finished my A-Levels I was disappointed with my results and chose to take a gap year to resit my exams the following year. However, I too wanted to travel abroad and that helped me to decide on what degree I should do at university because I was very unsure throughout my time at school.
Therefore for the next year, I will be trying to fundraise and save as much money as I can to then travel abroad and take part in research programmes and volunteering trips around the world.
I think that travelling abroad, would not help someone's mental health but it can have very influential aspects on a person's personal development when looking in the right places.
I'm unsure of the cost, so I have stated 1,500 however it could be more or less than what is required. Therefore I would be most grateful for any funds, big or small, which are offered to me because I understand how difficult it is for individuals in these current times.
