My Travel Story

Hi, I am 21 years old and I am planning to study in Paris this upcoming spring. As far as I can remember, I have always wanted to become a Fashion Designer. After many ups and down I have finally decided to do what I am passionate about because that is what life is about. Doing what you love, being happy and  living without regrets. After understanding how the world works I have realized that it is hard to follow one's dreams, it's a big decision with steep roads ahead. But regardless, that is something I am willing to undertake to reach my destination. I have decided to be brave and do what I love because you only get one life to live and it is your duty to live it to the best of your ability.


I will be doing my Bachelor of Fashion Design at Paris College of  Art. This is the beginning of my journey towards my dream. It will contribute to my skills and knowledge and give me a punch line to begin. Studying in Paris will allow me to be more immersed in the fashion industry and  have many opportunities for growth and an understanding of different cultures. As a Jamaican I wanted to encourage others and prove to the younger generation that it's not where you're from or your background, it's up to you to create the life that you want.


That is why I am asking for donations to help me start my journey and create a life that I will be proud of. 
It is not the destination that counts, it's the journey to get there that shapes us as individuals. So, I hope everyone that reads this post is following their dreams and creating the life that you want. I wish everyone the best in their future endeavours.
