My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Alicia Monet, a healing arts practitioner, spiritual guide, artist, and sacred space holder. In 2020, I relocated to Ghana, West Africa, following the transition of my 7 year old son, Zion, in 2019. Since then, I've been on a profound journey of healing, while offering support to my community through Womb Healing, Grief Rituals, Tarot & Astrology Readings, and Ancestral Connection.
 

Recently, my path took an unexpected turn. While preparing to launch this very campaign, initially focused on my travel to the Holistic Professionals of Color National Conference to sharpen my practice and thereby my offerings, I experienced a home invasion. In defending myself, I sustained stab wounds to my arm and chest. This traumatic event has necessitated a reevaluation of my immediate needs and healing journey.

The Journey Ahead:

Costa Rica – Sanctuary for Healing:
Before attending the Holistic Professionals of Color National Conference, I will travel to a retreat center in Costa Rica. This sacred space will provide the solitude and support needed to decompress, process the recent trauma, and continue my healing journey.

Denver, Colorado – Holistic Professionals of Color National Conference (September 10-15):
This conference is a pivotal opportunity to connect with fellow healers, share experiences, and further my mission of guiding women through transformative healing practices.

Las Vegas – Reconnecting with Family:
After the conference, I will visit my parents in Las Vegas. This time with family is essential for emotional support and grounding before returning to Ghana.
