Hello! I am raising funds for my trip to Greece this summer! For 2 weeks, I will be studying well-being in Ikaria, Greece with fellow students and faculty from Arizona State University. Ikaria is one of the five established Blue Zones in the world, which means people tend to live very long and happy lives there. As a Health Education and Promotion Major, I would love the opportunity to study another culture's way of life, especially one with such high well-being. This program will allows me to earn six credits towards my degree, which is equivalent to two semester courses. Along with my time in Ikaria, I would also like to spend my own time exploring Athens and at least one other Greek island to fully immerse myself in the culture. My family does have Greek ancestry, and I would love to learn more about the place that my ancestors called home.
