Hey everyone!  After previous study abroad programs were cancelled due to COVID-19, I have finally been accepted and provided the amazing opportuntiy to intern and study abroad in London!  I am going into my senior year at NC State University (go pack!) with majors in Zoology and Nutrition and a minor in Animal Science.  Not only am I so excited to experience a new culture, but being able to work and fully emerse myself in a country that I have never been to is truly a dream come true.  Animals have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember, so getting to learn new techniques that I can bring back home and incorporate into my current work places will be extremely beneficial for both myself and the animals that I help care for.  London is a world-renowned, multicultural city with rich history and plenty of opportunities for all career fields.  Being able to go on this trip will help me to gain independence, improve my communication skills, and teach me how to conquer unforeseen challenges of the future without having to relying on others.  This is the trip of a lifetime and I appreciate anything you may be able to donate.  Thank you!
