Hello, my name is Walteria Phelps, and I am a student at the University of Florida. I am reaching out today to kindly request your support for an invaluable opportunity I have as a medical student. I have been offered a shadowing experience in Agios Nikoloaos, Greece, which will provide me with hands-on medical exposure crucial for my future career.

As a medical student, gaining practical experience is vital for my education and future success in the medical field.  I will shadow doctors in different hospitals for approximately five hours or more a day for two weeks. This shadowing opportunity will not only enhance my understanding of medicine but also allow me to contribute positively to healthcare practices.

However, undertaking such an experience incurs significant expenses, including travel costs, accommodation, and program fees. Therefore, I am reaching out to friends, family, sponsors, and generous supporters like you to help me make this opportunity a reality. The trip is this upcoming summer from August 3 – August 16.
