My Travel Story

Never forget your parents, bec they are the reason why you are and who you are! Both mother and father are important in children's development. Unfortunately, life is not that easy and sometimes we had to sacrifice some thigs to be able to reach another. I had to grow up without my father. It was difficult 90-th in postsoviet Ukraina, where I was born. When I was 10 y.o. my father had to move abroad to work hand to be able to support us, his family. I was waiting the whole year to meet him on summer during vacation, I wrote long letters and was dreaming that next time he doesn't need to go back abroad. Time was running, children become independent and parents older. Hard work, life on distance, bad habits and constant stress not only destroyed my father's health but had a bad effect on family. My parents divorced, I grow up, but still try to keep relation with my father, who stayed in Portugal and now lives in rehab canter after two strokes he had. He has difficult to walk and don't talk. But he is still my best father and grandpa to my two children. We have not met him for ages and I really would like very much to visit him, spend a few days in Portugal, give a hug and sit close to him. Right now, I have not easy economic situation, I work a lot, need support my family in Ukraine, where is a war and unstable period, that is why I ask you for help. We need to visit our dear people when they are still alive! I want my children visit grandpa and tell him different stories. We will travel to Portugal during the low season, but anyway I need to account with some expenses.
