Hello! I am Becca, a senior in college! Even though I major in the arts, I have a minor in International and Global Studies. Yes there's courses at my university to be able to get credit for it, but I chose the route of studying abroad and study away courses (2-3 weeks worth) to get those credits. 

over a year ago I took a semester in Japan and absolutely loved it! I loved the country more than I did when I was a kid and it got me to love traveling. This trip was the reason why I chose my minor. I loved learning the different cultures. So even though it's late to change my major as a senior, I still planning on getting the minor. After college, I want to either work with international affairs or become a translator in Japan!

This summer I'll be doing 2 more trips after graduation (by graduation I'll be a hair short to be eligible for my diploma so I need summer classes to receive it). First trip is Italy, luckily that trip's finances were put on my financial aid (since it's through my school). But for France, it will be treated as though it is an study aboard (but will only be there for 3 weeks in June). Luckily I gotten the scholarship that pays for tuition and my dorm. But I still have to pay for my flight. I pay the school to pay for my ticket. For payment is at the end of January (January 30th - $500) the total for the flight is around over $1600. My school recommens having about $3,000 set for this.

To break it down, 1600 for the flight. The rest for food, as we will have to pay for our own food since this is not a full semester so there is no food plan with the university we will be staying at. Plus there's planned trips on our schedule with said university on the weekends (Paris being one of them) and for the transportation for those trips. Every penny will be used for my needs for this trip. To get there and get back, and to keep myself well fed.

To give more information, I'll be going to France for a language and culture program in Le Mans. So I'll be learning the language and the culture! As I said, I grew a love for traveling and learning other countries cultures which I'm super excited for!
