My Travel Story

God has placed it on my heart to lead a life of mission. I've been told that one of my spiritual gifts is service, so I intend to use this gift God has given me for His work and glory. I believe that teaching disadvantaged children in Africa will accomplish just that: serving all for His holy name! Being a part of the work God is already doing there is a blessing. As a future teacher, I hope that I will be able to give my assigned children on this trip hope, and develop once-in-a-lifetime connections that will help me in my spiritual walk. As a teacher there in Africa, I hope to add to the work God is already doing there as well as add a positive impact to the local community, while also developing personally and professionally. To witness the joy of the children that I will have the privilege of serving that are less fortunate than I, has to be one of the Lord’s greatest blessings. I pray that God can use me there, and allow me to flourish with the children I am assigned to.
