Hi :) I’m Alexa, a small-town girl from the Midwest, and my heart is in Sweden with my grandma, Ingrid. She’s 84, and her health is quickly fading. It breaks my heart to think I might not see her again. I’ve dreamed of holding her hand one more time, telling her how much she’s meant to me, and getting a chance to say goodbye properly. But with the cost of a plane ticket and all the little details that come with traveling abroad, I just can’t swing it on my own.

I’m asking for help to get to Sweden and spend these precious moments with her. Any contribution would mean the world to me—and to Grandma. Thank you for helping me make this final journey possible! <3
