My Travel Story
Every day, I am working as hard as I can, but I'm trapped in a difficult cycle. I'm currently paying $75 a day for rent, which adds up to an incredible amount. It's a daily struggle, and there is no way for me to get ahead when I am paying so much just to have a place to sleep. It’s impossible to save the money needed for a proper rental when every dollar is going towards today's bill.
What I need is a lifeline to break this cycle. I am seeking help with a security deposit and the first and last month’s rent for a monthly apartment. This single step would be a monumental change. It would lower my daily living costs dramatically, allowing me to finally save money and begin building a more secure life.
My children need me, and they need a safe place to be when they are with me. Until I can provide them with their own space—a real home—this distance remains a constant source of struggle. Right now, I am here alone, on my own, and it is a battle every day.
