My Travel Story

This summer, I’m heading to Soria, Spain through the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Spanish Language in Soria program—a dream come true! As an elementary education major with a Spanish minor and ESL endorsement, this program is the perfect blend of everything I love: language, culture, travel, and hands-on learning. I’ll take immersive Spanish courses and participate in a service-learning project in the local school system, allowing me to build real-world experience while strengthening my ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I’m excited to dive into a new culture, live with a host family, and explore everything from small towns to big cities like Madrid. This experience will help shape me into a more empathetic, globally-minded educator and create life-lasting memories—I’d love your support in making it happen!
