My dream is to become a polyglot and acquire each language thru immersion, spending time in the country that speaks the language. I consider myself still monolingual because even though I have knowledge to different degrees in multiple languages, I haven't reached advanced conversational or fluency levels in any yet. The next one I want to master is Brazilian Portuguese. I am Haitian American and also want to master Haitian Creole but I have a large community around me already for that. I also really love Brazilian culture and feel like I'll be able to more easily find a lovely community there, which is something I haven't been able to do here in the US. I just want to connect with people in hopes of bringing out my potential.
