My Travel Story

Hi!! 

Thank you for taking time to read this. For those of you who don't know us,  my name is Suzie, my fiance is David and my kids are Teagan, Shiloh and Benji.
I decided to make this campaign to try and my best to keep a promise to my girls and to also give my family a much needed break after the last few years. 

My kiddos have never been on a vacation... I have never been able to afford taking them anywhere for more than a couple hours and i promised them that this year would be our year....

This year had other ideas. Between multiple hospital trips for several of us, with the most recent being the devestating May diagnosis where Shiloh found out she has type 1 diabetes and we had to use up all our saved pennies in travel to and from the hospital and getting supplies and things she would need for daily life .. i am finding I just won't be able to keep my promise. We thought we could use income tax return but it has never shown up and we can't get ahold of anyone at the IRS to find out why. 

So here I find myself  asking for your help. I am not trying to fund a fancy vacation or trip to Disney etc. I am hoping for something super simple and fun for my kids...

Either 2 nights in a hotel down in Wildwood NJ so my kids can have two days of fun playing in the sun, surf, sand and seeing the board walk and rides or 2nights at Great Wolf Lodge in Poconos PA. 

I've done all the calculations to just be able to afford the basic hotel/room and basic foods and rides and a little extra so they can get an ice cream treat.  The following prices listed are for an average two night stay at Great Wolf Lodge, with paw passes(allows the kids to participate in mini golf and games etc) and meals for all 5 of us. Wildwood trip could be roughly the same price or a little cheaper, and the extra funds would get the kids wrist bands for rides and a day at one of the water park. Misc expenses are for any little things we may have forgotten or possibly even need to get for our Type 1 diabetic child in an emergency.
