My Travel Story

Hello friends!
My name is Cosima, I am pursuing a masters degree in philosophy and museology in my hometown in Germany. I am very passionate about culture, studied art history in my BA and I am trying to carve my niche in the cultural field by also focussing on philosophy and therefore discovering a deeper understanding of art, aestetics and it's reception. 
Due to a difficult family situation, I never had the option to leave my hometown until now. I also coud never pusue a more crative carreerpath, which i had invisioned as a kid. The main reason for my limitations is losing my father to cancer when I was 17, after he had battled the illness for a few exhausting years. The results were many years of emotional and financial struggles for me and my close family. 
Now I'd like to seize the opportunity to leave my comfort zone and discover a different part of this world for a few months. I already am saving money from my parttime job, but I am worried about the high expenses I am facing in Italys capital. I will try to find work there as well, but I intend to find something in the cultural field to fully make it a future oriented project, that will further my aspirations -- which I know won't be easy.
