I personally chose this destination and what makes this trip meaningful is beacuse my father who passed away when I was 4 was born and raised in Germany, and I never got to visit it with him. I would love to see and experience his country and see him through that prospective while I am there! Educationally, this campaign is an opportunity for me to learn and explore the historical and ethical foundations of evidence-based practice and nursing research. By visiting sites such as the initial concentration camps, the Nuremberg Trials courtroom, and former medical research facilities, I will learn the consequences of unethical medical experimentation and the evolution of research ethics. This will help me in my future career as a neonatal nurse practioner because it will teach me the rights and wrongs of modern nursing.
