My Travel Story

Hello,my name is Lily and I would like to raise funds for a place to live for my father. My family originally came from Malawi and they relocated to Zimbabwe a long time ago. When the economy went down in Zimbabwe in 2008 we lost everything we had trying to make ends meet. We also lost my mother a few years later mainly because we couldn't afford medication for her. I moved to South Africa  just after covid so I could  find work and help my father, who is getting old and has medical conditions that comes with age. I managed to secure a job, but I can barely do anything else after I pay monthly bills. My father's living condition and health is getting worse, I would like to possibly get him a small piece of land in the village, put up a wendy house and a borehole, so he has clean water close to him. This would be very meaningful to me since he is the only parent I have left. The borehole will also help the community who have to travel very far everyday to secure clean water.
