My Dream and Why London?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of studying abroad, immersing myself in a new culture, and gaining the skills necessary to achieve my goals. London has always been a place of inspiration for me—a city rich in history, culture, and home to some of the world’s best universities.

London is more than just a city. It’s a place where students from across the globe gather to learn, grow, and connect. Its diverse culture and academic excellence make it the perfect destination for anyone looking to gain a world-class education.

I’ve spent countless hours researching universities, and I have found affordable options like the University of East London (UEL), which offers a quality education at a fraction of the cost of other London universities. This affordable path will allow me to focus on my studies while gaining access to the incredible opportunities that a London degree can provide.

Why I Need Your Support – The Real Costs of Studying in London:

The cost of studying abroad is a huge financial undertaking, and while I’ve been doing everything I can to save, the full cost is simply beyond my reach. Here’s a breakdown of the estimated expenses I will need to cover:

1. Tuition Fees – £12,000–£15,000 per year

This is the cost for international students at University of East London (UEL), one of the more affordable universities in London. This covers everything from lectures to access to academic resources that will shape my future.

2. Living Expenses – £12,000–£14,000 per year

This includes housing, food, transportation, and daily costs. London is an expensive city, but I will be living frugally to ensure I can stay within budget. I’ve planned to stay in affordable student accommodations and will be managing my expenses carefully.

3. Visa & Immigration Health Surcharge – £1,500+

As an international student, I’ll need to apply for a student visa, which includes the visa fee and the NHS Health Surcharge for health insurance during my stay.

4. Flight to London – £500+

Traveling from my home country to London isn’t cheap, and the flight cost will depend on the best available deals at the time of booking.

Total Estimated Cost:

• Tuition Fees: £12,000–£15,000

• Living Expenses: £12,000–£14,000

• Visa and Immigration Health Surcharge: £1,500+

• Flight: £500+

Total for the First Year: £24,000–£30,000
