This is a University endorsed volunteer trip to aid in teaching English to disadvantaged communities in Italy. The trip will consist of volunteering up to 5 hours a day where I am able to share my knowledge of English literature, teaching students from different age groups, including toddlers, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly. 

I am very passionate about a trip of this nature as it means I will be able to give back to the community, fostering the learning of our upcoming generations. I will also be gaining experience in teaching which will go towards my Primary Teaching degree which I am currently studying. 

Whilst I am passionate about this, I realise that the trip will be quite costly. The cost of my program with the current conversion rate is roughly $2700AUD. However, I also need to pay for flights which are approximately $4000AUD and meals.
