My Travel Story

For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my life and career to helping individuals with disabilities and their families access the services, support, and opportunities they deserve.

Throughout my journey, I have met countless families who face overwhelming challenges—not because their loved one has a disability, but because they lack access to resources, specialists, support groups, advocacy, and community programs. Too often, the help they need simply isn't available where they live.

I have spent years working within the disability community and have seen both the incredible successes that happen when resources are available and the heartbreaking struggles that occur when they are not.

Now, I want to take my experience beyond my local community and travel across the United States to reach families living in underserved areas where disability resources are limited or nonexistent.

My goal is to visit communities in all 50 states, beginning with those facing the greatest barriers to services and support. Along the way, I hope to meet families, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to learn from them, share knowledge, connect them with available resources, and help inspire new opportunities for advocacy and inclusion.

This mission is deeply personal to me.
