Support Theresia's journey teaching English to kids in Poland
My Travel Story
My name is Theresia, and I am a new student after a gap year. And in November 2023 I have the opportunity to travel as a volunteer in Euroweek Foundation, a Polish cultural program. I am honored to be their facilitator, helping many children improve their English skills with a cultural exchange program that aims to develop the intelligence students need in a rapidly changing world by teaching multiculturalism, social communication, and creativity.
There, I will also introduce the culture of my country. Since I am pursuing a career in arts management, it will be an amazing opportunity for me to introduce and teach dance to everyone. Why dance? Dancing is an art of moving the body to the accompaniment of music that has been around for a long time. Dancing is for me not only a noble culture but also a medium for healing, channeling emotions, and achieving freedom. I have been struggling with my trauma for a long time and hope to heal. I believe that by dancing, all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.
By participating in this fundraiser, you are also becoming the biggest support system I could ever wish for. I will also be sharing my journey through social media, so you can also see my healing progress and activities while volunteering. I cannot express how grateful I am for the opportunity to embark on this journey.
Thank you, and have a great day!
