My Travel Story

Help me to make my dream of visiting the continent of my father for the very first time come true! My goal is to raise the funds necessary to visit Africa for the first time but also to be able to volunteer my teaching services to children who need it the most. I plan to visit Tanzania with my two children by June next Summer and with your help, this will be possible! In preparation, I have been learning Swahili daily with the use of the Pimsleur app which has been very helpful! Take a look at my link for more info! 

The funds will help to cover the cost of roundtrip airfare tickets to and from Tanzania. The funds will also help to cover any everyday expenses associated with the trip for my children and I also, in addition to any excursions if time allows.  I would also like to plan to bring school supplies for the children that I will be teaching if possible after the major costs have been covered so any extra donations towards this cause will be very helpful! As part of my commitment to transparency, I will make public how the funds will be used which will be posted on this site. (Please note that the amount of funds stated in my video does not reflect the entire amount needed as this was an estimate for airfare only).
