My Travel Story

My name is Antoine Walker, and I am the senior instructor at Southern Maryland JTR Jujutsu, also a student at JTR Jujutsu International in Washington, DC.

We are raising money for a once in a lifetime experience for our Jujutsu students. Our goal is to make it possible for our students to attend the 2025 DNBK 7th World Butoku Sai, in Kyoto, Japan. This will be an exciting experience for us all as we share our craft among other martial artists from around the world in front of distinguished Japanese officials, and the princess of Japan. All our students that are planning to attend are excited and honing their skills in preparation for this event and for most of them, allotting the funds can be a bit of a hefty task. We have a total of 10 students attending this year and the cost per student are as follows:

Student Registration and event fees - $1500
7 night's stay, shuttle to Budo Center, and meals - $1500
Roundtrip airfare - $1300

So, we are reaching out for assistance to help make it a little more affordable for those attending this memorable event.
