I found out 14 years ago that I had a half brother, I had minimal information to go along with this knowledge that he existed. I tried for 14 years to find him, and finally got the clue I needed. I found him in under two hours after having some useful information. 

The kicker is that I live in Wisconsin and he lives in Hawaii. What a great reason to go to Hawaii! But sadly there is nothing quick or cheap about a trip all the way there and back.
