Around the same time, I faced an unexpected career setback when I was laid off from a job I dedicated nearly 10 years of my life to. These events shook my world, but I have always believed in looking forward, knowing that with every hardship comes an opportunity for growth and new beginnings.
Amid these trials, I had already planned several trips to reconnect with my loved ones and celebrate a significant birthday. These travels represent more than just a change of scenery; they are a chance to heal, to laugh, to share stories, and to create new memories with the people who have been my support system through it all.
**My Journey Includes:**
- **Miami:** In May, I will spend two weeks with my family and my goddaughter, who I haven't seen since June 2023. This trip is not just a vacation; it's a reunion, a celebration of life and love with those who matter most. **Total needed: $2,400 USD**
