My Travel Story

It has always been my dream to study abroad. I had the chnace after high school, but covid prevented me from being able to do so. Now as a Sophomore in college I am excited to start preparing for a semester abroad my Junior year in Glasgow, Scotland! As a member of my universities honors program, we have the prestigou opportunity to study in Glasgow for a semester to further out education and global awareness. At my current university I study history and econdary education, with the hopes of someday becoming a high school history teacher. Traveling to Glasgow would allow me to emmerse myself in history not accesible in the United States and expand on my pedagogical methods of teaching. In preparation for my study abroad experince I am rasiing money to help fund food purchases and costs associated with traveling abroad. While I have saved many years for a trip like this, it would put a strain on my finances as I prepare to graduate. Any small donation helps and Im grateful for those who have already heplped me along the way in the journey! The estimated cost of housing and tuition is 16,000 not including flights and spending money for food and transportation.
