Hello! We are Lee and Gwen, a parent-child duo with a shared goal: to spend two months in Taiwan learning Mandarin together. We’re excited to immerse ourselves in the language, culture, and traditions of Taiwan while creating unforgettable memories. This journey will be transformative for both of us, strengthening our bond and opening doors for the future. My son is 7 years old and he would love to speak Mandarin fluently.

Why Taiwan and Why Two Months?
Taiwan is the ideal place to immerse ourselves in Mandarin while experiencing a unique and vibrant culture. Over the course of two months, we’ll not only study the language but also engage with the local community, giving us a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s rich heritage. The length of our stay will allow us to fully embrace the experience, giving both myself and my son enough time to develop practical language skills.

How You Can Help
We need your support to make this two-month educational journey possible.

The funds we raise will cover:
-Tuition fees for both of us to attend Mandarin language classes.
-Round-trip flights to Taiwan.
-Accommodation for two months in Taiwan.
-Living expenses including meals, transportation, and essential supplies.
-Study materials to aid us in learning Mandarin.
Our Goals
This two-month experience is about much more than language acquisition. It’s an opportunity for personal and professional growth, and for my son, it’s a chance to develop a global perspective from an early age. Your support will allow us to embark on this once-in-a-lifetime journey together, helping us gain language skills and immerse ourselves in a culture that will stay with us forever.
