Volunteer Teaching English - compulsory part of university
My Travel Story
As part of my compulsory year abroad for university, I need to complete 12 weeks in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a vibrant, exciting and serene country that I hope will be able to simultaneously soothe my anxiety and make me come out of my comfort zone.
As a native English speaker, I feel as if it's my duty to give back to the community that is graciously accommodating me, so I will be volunteering teaching English.
I have bought flights and vaccinations all sorted but fall short with living costs, if you could spare any change you have to help me eat, buy gifts for my host family and students, do laundry, transport costs from my accomodation to the placement and I hope to improve my language skills through learning with their skilled teachers.
