My Travel Story

I'm male & citizen of Malaysia, I'm Atheist but technically on my ID is Islam, I can't change my religion because there a law for Native Melayu (Malay) .

For Malays people in Malaysia, we doesn't have freedom to change religion, you can't eat at public during day in a Ramadan, i can't live under one roof with my unmarried partner or any women's friend and much more i can't do because i'm under Malaysia sharia law.

Few month ago, right before Covid-19 pandemic, I've got caught by Religious Police (JAIS) because of i stayed in my a room with my partner and i was indictment for fornication . for Malaysia federal law this not wrong & not a criminal act. but for Malaysia shariah law it is criminal act and Malays people attach with sharia law till they die.

The fined was about 1000 USD, i must bring the money to the Sharia court in a middle of June. if i couldn't pay that amount of money, they will put me in jail for 2 years for nothing, i didn't commit any crime, to them fornication is crime.

When the Malaysia Movement Control Order (MCO) started because of Coronona Virus pandemic. Most shops & business were close, economical was down, my small business was down too, now i'm striving to find money to pay my rental, bills, foods and to take of my sister, she in secondary school now.

Please help me, i couldn't afford to pay the fined & i don't to go to jail. I'm humbly need help from you guys to help poor person like me. this is the reason why most Malaysian Atheist leave Malaysia because they are attach with sharia law.

Help me i don't want to go to jail, I've got responsibility to my poor family. what happen to them if i go to jail. help me please, those who help me, you guys are mean a lot to me. sorry i can't post my picture here because they will report me to JAIS for Apostate.
