My Travel Story

Why have I decided to 'set off' on this first part of the journey...the fundmytravel part? For the last 3 or more years a smile has been wiped away from the eyes of one of my remaining nearest and dearest. I am not going to enter into any sob stories...if I'm here, there must be a reason. 
I would love to be able to show this person that there is hope and more to life than what has come to pass by being able to make and share some memories somewhere distant from their usual surroundings, distracting them for a while from the constant heaviness of what they are going through...even if just for a moment. I would also like to take advantage of this trip in order to help them discover new ideas and input for a change of career. I think this could be a kind of a self-help trip. By choosing these locations I imagine that some well-needed happiness and fun could be found in the simple things in life. I also think this complete change of scene will be absolutely refreshing - ready for a new and determined fresh start!
