My Travel Story

In 2013 my father and I planned a mission trip to Kenya. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled two days in a row shortening the trip so much that we had to cancel it. My dad has since been on several mission trips and I think these trips have helped turn him into the man he is today. On top of being a pastor at his church he also helps run a discipleship home that houses people with substance abuse disorder. Like him, a huge passion of mine has always been helping people.. After his trip to Kenya years ago, the stories as well as the huge smiles on the Kenyans' faces immediately made me want to experience a mission trip in Kenya. My dad just graduated with his doctorate and my plan is to surprise him with a mission trip to Kenya. On top of being a pastor at his church and helping the community in all kinds of ways, my dad's passion of the Bible has kept him busy in school for the past 10 years as he's always hungry to learn more about the Gospel and spread God's word.
