My Travel Story

Hello,

I am setting up this page as I am a qualified nurse and will be travelling to Tanzania in January 2024 -along with two other qualified nurses. We will be volunteering in the healthcare sector in Tanzania and working alongside healthcare teams there, to help deliver care to the local people. 
The money will go towards flights out there, meals on volunteering days and travel to and from our placements. Anything extra to our goal, we will use towards buying essential items for the local community, in hope of giving them something they really need. 
We hope to learn a lot, especially about how healthcare is run in another country, in comparison to the UK and we're excited to shadow medical teams and share our own knowledge however we can! 
We will also be staying with a local host, so we would like to get them a gift to say thank you for looking after us.
