Hi, we are Julissa (18) and Kzannier (19), we come from Trujillo, Peru and we are FairMail photographers on a mission to Europe!

FairMail is a social enterprise that empower economically disadvantaged teenagers through photography. We receive free photography classes and we take pictures that are then sold in Europe to produce fair-trade greeting cards.

With the money we earn from the sales of the cards, we fund our education and support our families.

We have the opportunity to travel to Europe as representatives of FairMail, the trip is a unique occasion for us to gain a better insight of what happens when our images reach the European market. We'll meet our publishers, we'll visit the stores that sell our cards, we'll have training experiences.

What makes this trip truly special is that it’s not only about us. When we go back to Peru, we'll share with fellow FairMail photographers everything that we have learned so that we can all improve the quality of our pictures, which means increasing the chance of selling more cards and, as a consequence, earning more money for our education. We really like the idea that we are going to have a positive, constructive impact on the whole FairMail community.

This is simply the trip of a lifetime, sometime that we could have only dreamed of if it wasn’t for FairMail. We need your support to make it happen! The money we’ll fundraise will be used to cover  the cost of the trip (flight, transport in Europe, meals ecc.). Any money exceeding the goal amount will be used to buy camera equipment (cameras, lenses, portable studios) for our production center in Peru.
